All changes must be submitted in writing to Royalty Relations
(see address below)

   Name Change Requirements

If your name has changed due to marriage, please send Royalty Relations a copy of your marriage certificate.

If your name has changed due to divorce, please send to Royalty Relations a copy of your divorce decree (first page and signature pages).

If your address has also changed, please provide your new address by completing a Change of Address Notification.

   Address Change Requirements

All address change requests must be received in writing with the interest owner’s authorizing signature. Royalty Relations will process signed requests sent by mail or fax. We are unable to process any change requests via email.

Should there be more than one owner listed on the account, Royalty Relations will require the signature of each party.  In a letter, please include the following;

   Deceased Owner

Requirements for each state are different and dependent on whether the decedent had a will or not. Please contact the Royalty Relations department to advice of the death of the owner. Once Royalty Relations receives notification, our Division Order department will contact you to advice what necessary documentation is needed to transfer the interest. It is possible that the interest will be temporarily suspended until the appropriate documentation is received.

 W9 Form

Rosetta is required by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to maintain tax identification number for individuals or partnerships to which payments are made in the course of business or trade.

We request that you indicate on this form your social security number or your employer identification number.  Please note that the tax ID number provided MUST match the name you list on the first line of the W-9 Form.

Failure to remit this information will result in a backup withholding of any royalties or other income payable to you in the amount of 30%.

Transfers of Ownership, Estates & Inheritances

Ownership Change Requirements:
This document contains a list of the information that Royalty Relations will need in order to change ownership to the Estate or to the heirs.

Affidavit of Heirship:
An affidavit of heirship is used to identify heirs in the event that the interest owner passes away and leaves no will.  Do not complete this form if the decedent left a will that was probated in court or there has been some other type of legal determination regarding the estate.  This affidavit should be filled out by a “disinterested party” who will not benefit from the decedent’s estate.  The affidavit of heirship must be recorded with the county prior to forwarding to Royalty Relations.

 ACH/Direct Depost Authorization Form

Rosetta is pleased to offer our royalty owners the opportunity to receive royalty payments electronically.  The Automated Clearing House Network will be used to facilitate these payments at no cost to our owners.  For owners who choose to receive their payments electronically, a check detail statement will be mailed to the existing address on file.

Should you desire to take advantage of the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) services offered, please complete and sign the attached form.  Remember to include a VOIDED check for verification purposes.

Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing.  You will continue to be paid by check while your account information is tested in our system.
