ROSETTA RESOURCES INC. is an independent oil and gas company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development, and production of natural gas properties in North America. Our exploration and production activities are concentrated in the Sacramento Basin of California, South Texas and the Rockies. As of December 31, 2008, our total proved oil and natural gas reserves were approximately 398 Bcfe, including 377 Bcf of natural gas and 3,603 MBbls of oil and condensate. Our proved reserves are 95% natural gas and 82% proved developed with a reserve life index of approximately 7.4 years. We operate approximately 90% of our proved reserves and maintain a high degree of control over our capital expenditures and other operating matters. On February 13, 2006, we became a publicly held company listed on the NASDAQ® exchange under the ticker symbol “ROSE”.
